I was unlucky enough that my laptop, Touda, had a total fuck-over the other night. Every single file got wiped out, deleted, removed and left me with a blank laptop.

The 200 GBs of music, anime and television series can be recovered. The 6 GBs of pictures cannot.

However, the 4+ years worth of writing is gone. Permanently. Granted, some of my written work is posted on Fictionpress, but that amounts to...perhaps 20% of everything I had on my laptop. All minor characters, stories in planning, time lines, ideas- it's all lost. And I have no capacity to reconstruct the time lines, which is what bothers me the most. It feels like my laptop has murdered all those minor characters I've made, because I can't remember them all, but they were pieces of me. Everything I write is.

Needless to say, I had a horrible Sunday.

Watching True Blood saved me from clawing my eyes out.

I have seen many vampire television series, ranging from Angel to Moonlight to Blood Ties, but True Blood is probably one of the best vampire series that exists (though, Buffy shall forever be my favourite show). To have a vampire named Bill is just...wrong on so many levels that it's hilarious. Not to mention that he isn't handsome at all, whereas most shows portray the main vampire as gorgeous. Bill isn't ugly, and I suppose you can call him ruggedly handsome, but he definitely isn't a looker.

I love the concept, the characters, the plot development- everything.

But most of all I love Eric Northman, Bill's superior, who is a super tall, blue eyed, blond former Viking. He is apathetic, he is wicked, he is gorgeous, he is sly and he's cold and unattainable (not to mention that he can speak Swedish, which is just...epic win).

It might be silly, but I'm in love, I think.

He is sex on two legs, and that impression only grows stronger when he gets his haircut in the second season. Oh. My. God (pardon my French). I won't spoil anything, though I'm tempted. See for True Blood for yourself. It's worth every single minute.

Recently we had a big film festival (called BIFF- Bergen Internation Film Festival) in my city, so I grabbed the chance and went to see cheap, fun movies. 'Brief interviews with hideous men' was stunning. The french opera/spy movie that and I saw was hilarious, though kind of porny, which made it even funnier. And I saw the lovely animated movie named 'Mary and Max'. I recommend it.

Lastly- My Starfighter tee shirt came in the mail!!! YES!!! I absolutely love it! even added an autograph and a sticker, which made me ecstatic beyond words!
